Krab Stuffed Avocado
So, I'm trying to eat healthier. We always say that, don't we? First, I've come to terms with the fact that I love fast food, and that I'll likely eat it multiple times a week for the rest of my life. I can't change that, because I don't want to. But I do have control over what I eat at home. So, here's a super easy, super nutritious meal I eat often, to make up for all that other shit I've been eating. I promise that it is just as filling, and even more delicious, because it is filled with healthy fats.
Imitation Crab Meat (Krab) is made from whitefish or pollock and is a low calorie and low fat source of protein. If you're rich, go with the real thing, because it has more than twice as much protein and zero carbohydrates.
What You'll Need:
1 Ripe Avocado
1/2 Cup Imitation Crab Meat (Chopped, or Flake Style)
1 tbs Pumpkin Seeds
1 tsp Mayonnaise (Preferably made with olive oil)
1/8 tsp Salt (aka, a pinch)
Pepper, to taste
Directions:
MIX krab meat, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Voila! You have krab salad.
Mayonnaise is good for your soul.
Next, take that avocado and show it who's boss.
Don't fuck with me.
REMOVE the seed from your avocado and put it aside. Now, fill each half of your avocado with the krab.
Pumpkin seeds are filled with protein building blocks (amino acids) which your body converts into melatonin, the sleep hormone.
ENJOY. I top mine with dried parsley so that I can feel fancy whilst I eat it.
