“I must have walked the perimeter of Lake Seminole by now. For weeks, I walked the shores of that lake every single day. I’d get up in the morning, go search, then come home, sleep, get up and search again. My husband finally made me agree to go three time a week, for no more than four hours at a time. He comes with me sometimes. I know he’s tired.
My daughter-in-law has asked me many times to stop searching. She says I’m going to injure myself on the lake.
I don’t know what I’m looking for. A tooth or a bone, maybe. His shoe. So far I’ve found nothing.”
